This project was a group project with the goal of transforming empty warehouse space in the corner of AGC's offices into a thriving co-working environment accessible to the citizens of Montpelier.
The original space consisted of two connected rooms of industrial-grade space, with one room being in a structural addition. In addition, another part of the space was elevated over two feet due to its prior use as a loading dock. This presented several challenges to completing a design that encompassed the full potential of the space.
After many design revisions, a space that facilitated multiple different requirements of a modern working environment was created. Desks of varying types and placements were created to ensure that workers would be able to find a space that was suitable for the way they worked. Additional areas to support a healthy working environment include a kitchenette, conference rooms, and sound-isolating pods.
